Plain language, no legalese walls: what this handbook stores about you is close to nothing — by design.
1. What this project is
Vietnam Entry Point is a non-commercial, self-funded reference for travellers. It publishes educational material about Vietnamese entry procedures and has no registration system, no payment rails and no user accounts whatsoever.
2. Data we never touch
The handbook is built so that sensitive data cannot leak, because it is never requested:
- identity documents — names, passport numbers, birth dates;
- application files — photos, forms, itineraries;
- payment instruments — cards, accounts, transfers;
- contact details — email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses.
3. The interactive widget
The "Am I visa-free?" widget on the home page computes its answer entirely inside your browser. Your selections are never transmitted, logged or stored anywhere.
4. Cookies & analytics
Only minimal technical cookies are used for interface behaviour (for example, the mobile menu state). Aggregate, anonymised traffic metrics may be reviewed to see which topics matter to readers. You can block or wipe cookies in your browser at any time — the content remains fully readable.
5. Outbound government links
Articles link directly to official domains such as evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn for reader convenience. We control neither those websites nor their practices; once you follow an external link, that domain's own privacy terms apply. Review them before submitting any personal data or payment there.
6. Connection security
The site is served over TLS/HTTPS. Combined with the absence of accounts and payments, this keeps the practical risk of data exposure at close to zero.
7. Updates
This policy may be revised as the project evolves. The version published here is always the current one, with the revision date shown on the page.
